Centershot Archery

Our local Calvary Community Church
hosted a free outreach through the youth for Madison.
All were welcome to attend the ten week long course.

Everyone was given free instruction in proper archery technique.
Everyone was given free instruction in life altering faith.
Everyone was given an opportunity to shoot and hit or shoot and miss.
Everyone was given an opportunity to improve aim with a bow and aim in eternity.

My family really enjoyed the fellowship and fun. We all wanted the archery practices to continue. Quinn and Neal were instructors for the newbies. Thanks for your help, guys!

Shoot!

For the first time,Hemphill girls were invited to shoot with the boys!

Joanna and Kryzdy were pretty good!

I got to shoot too, but tended to be far more accurate with the camera than the .45 or .12 gauge

Shoot.

Shooting with the boys was so much fun!
I apologize for the poor quality of the photos.

It was a bright sunny day,

with a cold wind blowing strong from the North.

Thanks to Dean, Joanna and Kryzdy actually hit some.

Fergusons and Sterners were good company.

Thanks for the instruction, Dean!

He showed us how it's done.

Thank you for safety, Lord!

choosing teams

soccer games

murder!

Joseph is a typical young male photographer!

Eewwww!

Dad disposed of a mouse from the basement while the rest of us played the Wii.

Thank you, Dad!
I would absolutely detest this time of year if I didn't have Dad and the boys.

?

So...the receipt printer at Madison Public Library is once again working!

At one point, during the LONG process of repair, the checkout computer could communicate with the printer, but the printer would only spit out question marks.

A lot of question marks!

After much miscommunication, and frustration, and waiting for parts, finally! no more hand written receipts!

Those of you who are 'green.' I used the questionable receipts to stuff my sister's New Years gift to keep it from rattling to keep her guessing.)

NEW SHOES

Most girls look forward to their first pair of heels.

Not me...

My first flats! (sort of)

I have tennis shoes and used to wear 'no heels' back in the day, but it has been several years since I have owned fancy shoes without a wedge or high heel.

The librarian's feet are happy. Therefore the librarian is happy. Therefore the library is happy. Therefore the library patrons are still sometimes unhappy...Oh well.
