My boss has been teaching me about networking. You know, like: the internet server holds all the accounts and info for each public access computer and the individual computers "ask" for the information they need at the time. That's how it is supposed to work. Well...our network is set up peer-to-peer. Meaning the public access computers store all their own data and run really sloowww. My experiment tonight will be to shut down our "server" and see if the other comps. are TOTALLY self-reliant. :) here I go!!!

learning about flickr
I like sharing some of my pictures with the world. My sister loans me her digital camera; she is going to be sick of me asking to use it.
Find me at www.flickr.com/photos/naomi-mplThe Madison Public Library owns a digital camera. We took lots of pictures of our summer reading program 2008. I don't think I will make those pictures public. Too many of the pictures are of our local kids.
In Flickr...
One picture that really caught my eye is by SarahBrewington labeled Underwater. You know from the title that this picture was taken under water, but you can't actually see the water around her.
